Details at Alexander McQueen RTW Spring 2016 Collection.

Designed by McQueen's recently-appointed creative director, Sarah Burton, this collection is inspired from 17th century Victorian elegance with delicate floral and ruffled embroidery. The couture collection also brought body chains and jewelry on an entirely new level. Love the criss-crossing chain styling on some of these gowns and the statement drop earrings. A beautiful sight ♥

McQueen never fails to inspire me and various fashion designers worldwide. This Spring 2016 RTW collection is one of my McQueen favourites so far. It's not too extravagant and artsy like Comme des Garcons and there are plenty of wearable elements that appeal to the classic Victorian era of dressing. The amount of detailing that's embedded into each dress is outstanding, and that certainly pays off to both the label and the larger audience (me, for example!)

Bisous ♥
